Academic Center Information

The Rutland campus is located at 60 West Street, right on the corner of West & Wales. The reception desk is located on the first floor by the main West Street entrance.

Computer Labs
CCV-Rutland has four computer labs available for students. One, located within the Learning Center on the second floor, is open and available for students whenever the building is open. The other three host many classes throughout the day including digital photography, graphic design, and Adobe Creative Cloud, which all use the latest software.

Science Labs
On the third floor of the building are two 900-sq. foot state-of-the-art science rooms, which host anatomy & physiology, microbiology, chemistry, phlebotomy, medical assisting, and environmental science classes.

Art Rooms
On the second floor are two bright, airy, light-filled art rooms complete with deep basin sinks, a kiln, and potter’s wheels. Drawing, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry making, acrylic painting, and pastels are a sampling of the classes offered here.

Student Lounge
There are breakout spaces on the second and third floors for students. Vending machines accepting credit cards are located on those floors as well.

Parking

Café CCV
One Friday night at the end of each fall and spring semesters, our art students put on quite a show. Each class displays their artwork to showcase their creativity and efforts. Light food and drink are served.

Recycling
Let’s all do our part! The Rutland center has a Zero-Sort recycling program. Find the recycling bin and throw it in! We also recycle refundable cans and bottles and use the redemption money to support our local student scholarship fund.

Smoking
The Vermont State Colleges System has gone tobacco-free at all campuses across Vermont. Smoking, including vaping and the use of all tobacco products, is now prohibited on all CCV properties. Opportunities to quit smoking can be found through our partnerships with RRMC and the Department of Health. Ask for more information at the front desk!
