CCV Learning Centers provide a welcoming environment for students to get the academic support they need for free. Each of our academic centers offers students access to computer labs and study areas, providing open and friendly spaces for studying, one-on-one or group assistance, and study groups.

Each Learning Center features academic mentors who support you with assignments and study habits; they may also guide you through coursework and promote confidence, motivation, autonomy, and academic achievement.

Learning Center Online Live allows students to access drop-in academic mentoring and receive support from anywhere via Zoom. Access this service through the Learning Center Online Live tile in the Portal.

Learning Center Hours Spring 2023

The Evelyn Hoffman Donovan Learning Center will offer in-person mentoring during the Spring 2023 semester. Mentors are currently available to support students January 23 – February 22.

Mentors can meet with students to review papers in any course. Mentors can also support student navigation of, Hartness Library, and Canvas.

Academic and Career Resources

  • CCV offers 24/7 on-demanding, online tutoring available in all courses. Students can get immediate support or drop off an essay for review. This service is available through your Canvas classroom. Go to your Canvas course online (every class has one!) and find 24/7 Online Tutoring in the Canvas navigation menu.
  • Students can access a large collection of online periodicals, eBooks, streaming videos, and specialized academic databases through Hartness Library.
