Steps to Graduation

Associate Degree Program Students

Step 1: Access Your Program Evaluation

  1. Log on to the portal https://portal.ccv.edu
  2. Go to Web Services (bottom left of the screen)
  3. Click on ‘Student Academic Planning’
  4. Click on ‘Program Evaluation’
  5. Contact your academic advisor with any questions you have about your evaluation

Step 2: Complete the Intent to Graduate Form

  1. Log on to the portal https://portal.ccv.edu
  2. Go to Web Services (bottom left of the screen).
  3. Click on ‘Student Academic Planning’
  4. Click on ‘Graduation Application’
  5. Contact your academic advisor with any questions you have about your application

Step 3: Take the Quantitative Reasoning Assessment

In addition to your coursework, you must complete the Quantitative Reasoning Assessment (QRA), which is one of the VSC’s graduation standards.

Step 4: Attend graduation in June!

Certificate Program Students

  5. Contact your academic advisor with any questions you have about your evaluation.

Step 2: Complete the Intent to Complete Certificate Form

Please fill out the Intent to Complete Certificate Form, and return it to your CCV academic center.

Step 3: Celebrate Your Accomplishment!

CCV does not award certificates at commencement. Please check with your local CCV center staff regarding their end of year celebration to honor both degree and certificate recipients.
