We’re pleased to announce that residents of certain counties in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New York will be eligible for in-state tuition. The new program will apply to students who live in Cheshire, Sullivan, Grafton, and Coos counties in New Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties in Massachusetts, and Clinton, Essex, Washington and Rensselaer counties in New York.

“At CCV, our academic programs and support services are designed to prepare students to achieve both career and life goals,” said CCV President Joyce Judy. “By offering students in neighboring states the same tuition rates that Vermonters pay, more people will be able to benefit from our diverse courses, open admissions, and the opportunities that come with a CCV degree. We are thrilled to announce this new program and to continue our efforts to help students overcome barriers to higher education and reduce the financial burden of a college degree.”

The reduced tuition rates for New Hampshire and Massachusetts are offered through the New England Board of Higher Education (NEBHE) Tuition Break program and for New York through the Good Neighbor policy approved by the Vermont State Colleges Board of Trustees. Six of CCV’s 12 academic centers are located in communities close to these border regions, including Brattleboro, Upper Valley, Bennington, Springfield, Rutland, and St. Johnsbury. This program will expand educational opportunities available to many people who already frequent Vermont for culture and commerce.

For the 2017-2018 academic year, the in-state tuition rate will be $261 per credit, making most courses a total of $783. CCV is an open admission college with no application fee. For more information, please contact your closest CCV academic center.
