CCV Faculty Recognized for Teaching Excellence

CCV proudly recognizes members of its outstanding faculty with the annual Teaching Excellence Awards. Faculty are nominated by students, staff, and faculty colleagues, and this year 65 instructors received nominations. Recipients are selected by Academic Council, which includes faculty, staff, and student representatives. This year, CCV is pleased to honor Patti Cook, April Zajko, and Sylvia Puglisi.

Congratulations, Class of 2025!

The damp Vermont weather parted for a warm June day as CCV students, faculty, and staff from across the state gathered at Norwich University’s Shapiro Field House on Saturday to celebrate the Class of 2025. Thousands of Vermonters joined in the celebration as nearly 500 students earned their associate degrees.

CCV Student Speakers Represent ‘Untraditional’ Path to Education

CCV’s student body is made up of diverse individuals with varying goals and aspirations. As we look ahead to CCV’s 2025 Commencement Ceremony, this year’s celebration features two student speakers ready to share their unique experiences: Thomas Huster (CCV-Bennington) and Samantha Green (CCV-Rutland).

CCV’s 22nd International Food Festival: More Than Food

Nearly 150 people gathered at CCV-Winooski for a day of sharing and connection. Upon entering, attendees were greeted by the scent of fresh foods wafting through the halls, mixed with the sound of conversation and laughter of community members both young and old.

Because of her experiences navigating the healthcare system, Celeste developed a passion for helping others. She expressed this interest in pursuing a career in healthcare to her counselor at HireAbility, who suggested returning to CCV because of the College’s healthcare offerings and the VCAP program.
