The countdown to commencement 2024 has begun! With our sights set on June 1, the CCV community has been coming together to start celebrating this year’s graduates. Last week staff hosted Grad Week festivities at CCV centers across the state. Grads were able to visit their home center to participate in a variety of activities throughout the week, including writing gratitude notes to someone who has supported them in their education, capturing memories with photo booths, enjoying potluck meals, and playing games to win prizes. Additionally, students were able to bring home grad week swag to commemorate their experience.
Grad Week is meant to celebrate current students who intend to graduate, motivate students to reach and attend graduation, and inspire future students to reach the finish line. All graduates are encouraged to join Grad Week and CCV’s commencement ceremony to celebrate their hard work and accomplishments. As one CCV alumna said: “Graduation is a great time to reflect on your CCV experience and feel proud of all you’ve accomplished, and to share that celebration with those who care about you. This is a life milestone, and many CCV students have worked extra hard to achieve it — humbly accept the accolades!”
CCV’s 2024 commencement ceremony is June 1 at Norwich University’s Shapiro Fieldhouse. For more information about graduation, visit ccv.edu/graduation.
