Types of Programs
Associate Degrees
Our Associate of Arts (A.A.) and Associate of Science (A.S.) programs provide the knowledge you need for employment or further study at the bachelor’s level. Usually 24-36 credits in the concentration area are required, with 33 credits of A.A. & A.S. general education courses bringing total credits to at least 60.
Certificates
A certificate program is a group of related courses designed to provide students with entry-level workplace skills in a particular field. While most certificates do not lead to an occupational license, they are often recognized by employers as a credential that demonstrates job-readiness, self-organization, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Many students use the credits in a certificate program as a stepping stone to an associate degree.
Credentials & Training
CCV offers credentials and training opportunities at our locations around the state and online. Designed with input from Vermont employers, these programs help students upskill, grow their skills, and move up in the workforce. These programs are not represented in the Academic Catalog because they are not standard academic degrees.For more information visit our Credentials & Training page.
