- A privilege and an honor’: After 11 years on the job, Gordon set to retire from BMH | Local News | reformer.com Stephen Gordon, CEO of Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, is set to retire in the spring. While at BMH, Gordon oversaw the establishment of the CCV/BMH medical assisting program, a partnership that provides an accelerated pathway into healthcare careers.
- CCV hires Brodsky as executive director of human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion | Vermont Business Magazine (vermontbiz.com) Mary Brodsky has joined CCV as the College’s first executive director of human resources, diversity, equity, and inclusion. She started in this role on October 4.
- Valley News – CATV, Briggs Opera House deal barters operating space for venue management (vnews.com) Samantha Davison Green, CATV’s executive director, will teach a film production class at CCV in the spring.

- Historical Society annual meeting will feature Phil Crossman on political, religious, and social conflict in early Vermont – The Mountain Times Phil Crossman, CCV coordinator of teaching and learning, was the featured speaker at the Middletown Springs Historical Society’s annual meeting.
- CCV faculty receive Teaching Excellence Awards | Vermont Business Magazine (vermontbiz.com) CCV faculty members Melanie Meyer, Allison Dean, and Telemachus (Telly) Halkias received the 2021 Teaching Excellence Awards.
- COVID relief: No cost training at CCV Middlebury | Sun Community News MIDDLEBURY | If your job was adversely affected by COVID-19, you may be eligible for no-cost training. The VSCS and Vermont Department of Labor offered free classes and training for Vermonters adversely affected by Covid-19, including at CCV-Middlebury.
- Cambridge student earns STEM scholarship | Community | vtcng.com Seven STEM scholarships were awarded to Indigenous students, first-generation Vermonters, and students of color, one of whom is attending CCV.
- Pandemic unemployment programs end Saturday | Vermont Business Magazine (vermontbiz.com) As federal pandemic unemployment benefits ended in September there were concerns of holes in the workforce. The Upskill Vermont program, a partnership between CCV and UVM, is helping to support career changes through free courses and trainings.

- Scholarship addresses critical shortage of child care workers | Vermont Business Magazine (vermontbiz.com) CCV-Brattleboro student Emma Rose Sprenger received this year’s $2500 Jesse Corum IV Scholarship to support completion of her early childhood education degree.
