- 802Opportunity is a “lifesaver” for Vermont students of all ages – VTDigger The 802 Opportunity program allows Vermonters whose family income is less than $75,000, and who do not have a bachelor’s degree, to come to CCV tuition-free. Half of all Vermonters qualify.

- Fairfax resident goes from student to business owner | Schools | samessenger.com Calvin Caswell earned an associate degree in business from CCV and now owns The BrickKicker of Vermont, a home inspection company.

- Zargo: Early childhood educators | Commentary | timesargus.com CCV student Alora Zargo will graduate from high school with college credits under her belt through taking free classes at CCV. Alora plans to work in early childhood education.

The spread, titled “Inventing What a College Can Be: President Joyce Judy and CCV,” highlights parts of Joyce’s life and her leadership at the College.
- Early College launches early childhood teacher’s career | Around Town | vtcng.com CCV alumna Sophie Decker is moving up from preschool teacher to pre-K teacher at Christ the King this fall. Sophie started at CCV in the Early College program and earned a degree in early childhood education.
- Elizabeth Mauch: The Vermont State Colleges System is ready to meet the moment – VTDigger VSCS Chancellor Elizabeth Mauch shared a commentary in Vermont Digger about her optimism for the future of the VSCS, which includes CCV and VTSU.
- Area Students Named to CCV’s Spring 2024 President’s/Dean’s List | Education news | caledonianrecord.com Students were named to CCV’s spring 2024 president’s, dean’s, and student honors lists.
- CCV sponsored a night of racing at Thunder Road on August 18.
- CCV has been selected as one of 18 recipients to join the prestigious Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI). The College will receive a generous $75,000 grant to enhance career readiness among students pursuing IT and cybersecurity programs.
