The College is offering low- and no-cost tuition programs for Vermonters, reducing a barrier of attending college.
- CCV offers half off tuition for certain degrees starting this year (wcax.com) CCV is offering half-off tuition for Vermonters in eligible degree and certificate programs through the Vermont Tuition Advantage program.
- Scott Giles, president and CEO of VSAC, published a commentary highlighting the 802 Opportunity Grant. This program offers a tuition-free education to Vermonters whose family income is $75,000 or less, reducing barriers to accessing college.
- The Community College of Vermont, UVM Health Network, and Vermont State University have partnered to offer a Respiratory Therapy Program in the 2023-2024 academic year. This is an earn-while-you-learn program where students will gain valuable field experience while also earning college credits. This program is also designed to meet the needs of the Vermont workforce, particularly in healthcare.
