- Ellucian Foundation Awards $400,000 in PATH Scholarships to Two-Year Public Colleges in U.S. CCV is one of 25 two-year colleges receiving 2023 PATH (Progress, Accomplishment, Thriving, Hope) Scholarship funds that will support students facing hardships and disruptions.

- With cancer and relocation, community rallies for printmaker | Local News | reformer.com CCV instructor Dan Chiaccio is the owner of First Proof Press, a community-based studio specializing in many forms of fine art printmaking. Chiaccio has overcome many obstacles to reach his dream of opening a print shop, and is now moving to a new space on High Street in Brattleboro.

- Library kicks off Vermont Reads program Oct. 30 — Waterbury Roundabout CCV instructor Rick Winston’s book Red Scare in the Green Mountains: Vermont in the McCarthy Era was the focus of one of the Waterbury Public Library’s events through the Vermont Reads program.
- Charting a path to sustainability at the Vermont State Colleges | Vermont Business Magazine (vermontbiz.com) CCV has been a part of administrative consolidation within the VSCS, creating shared services between CCV and VTSU.
- Franklin County high school students explore local manufacturing jobs on ‘Maker Day’ | Schools | samessenger.com ‘Maker Day’, organized by the Franklin County Industrial Development Corporation, educated students about opportunities in the fields of manufacturing and healthcare. CCV offers programs in both fields, plus opportunities for high school students to earn a free degree through the Free Degree Promise.
- Author Nancy Stone shares her ‘Indigo Hours’ | Arts & Entertainment | willistonobserver.com CCV instructor Nancy Stone is the author and illustrator of Indigo Hours: Healing Haiku, a new book of poems sharing her experience as a caregiver of a loved one diagnosed with dementia.
- Discover the 5 Most underrated Cities in Vermont – West Palm Beach News (west-palm-beach-news.com) Four of the five most underrated cities in Vermont, as described in the article, are hosts of CCV academic centers.
- CCV-Winooski hosted a press conference on November 8th, National First-Generation Student Day, highlighting the McClure Free Degree Promise program. High school students in the graduating classes of 2024-2026 are eligible for a free associate degree at CCV after completing the Early College program.
