- Times Argus Community News for July 25, 2025. | Times Argus The CCV-Montpelier center was a partner distributor for Feed Every Need, a Vermont-based nonprofit fighting food insecurity with locally prepared meals.
- AAUW’s Brattleboro branch awards scholarships to area women | Brattleboro Reformer CCV student Erika Favreau was awarded a scholarship from the Brattleboro brand of the American Association of University Women. She will attend the University of Tampa to become an orthodontist.
- CCV has launched a project management certificate program beginning in the fall 2025 semester. This certificate can be completed fully online in one year, and credits easily build towards an associate degree.
- Winooski to be home to Marriott’s first all-electric, net-zero hotel: How else it’s unique | Burlington Free Press A new hotel, parking garage, and apartment building is under construction next to the CCV-Winooski academic center.
- BMH Auxiliary awards scholarships | Brattleboro Reformer Leah Lane was awarded a scholarship from the Brattleboro Memorial Hospital Auxiliary to aid in her pursuit of a career in healthcare. Leah plans to attend CCV this fall, followed by Greenfield Community College’s nursing program.
- Brattleboro Rotary Club awards a $2,500 scholarship to early childhood education student | Brattleboro Reformer The Brattleboro Rotary Club awarded the $2,500 Jesse M. Corum IV Scholarship to CCV student Kailuna Holmes. The scholarship is awarded to CCV early childhood education students in their second year of study who show academic achievement, financial need, and community service.
- CCV student Thomas Saunders received a scholarship from the Vermont Retail and Grocers Association Scholarship Program.
- Nurse graduation marks Pathway Program’s success | Vermont Business CCV is a partner in the University of Vermont Medical Center Nursing Pathway Program, which recently graduated the first sponsored cohort of registered nurses.
- CCV is a partner in the Northeastern Medical Center’s nursing pathway program. The next cohort of students recently completed a year of prerequisite health courses to LPN coursework and will advance to year two of the program.
- New program offers students a debt-free college degree | NewsBreak 802 Opportunity provides Vermonters with a debt-free college degree, offering free tuition to Vermonters with a household income of under $100,000 who do not already have a bachelor’s degree.
