The Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE)

Dear CCV Community,

This spring, CCV is once again participating in the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE). This national survey, focused on teaching, learning, and retention at community colleges, serves as a platform for students to share their experiences and help shape the future of the College.

CCV President Joyce Judy

Results from previous CCSSE surveys have helped us sharpen our focus on academic pathways, aided in the development of curriculum maps for each certificate and degree program we offer, and reinforced that students at CCV are highly engaged with faculty in our small classes. This survey speaks directly to the mission of student success at CCV.

CCV will invite eligible students to participate in the survey. To learn more about CCSSE, visit www.ccsse.org. If you have questions about the survey, or want to learn more about earlier results, please contact Laura Massell, CCV’s director of institutional research & planning, at Laura.Massell@ccv.edu, or Angie Albeck, assistant dean of student services, at Angie.Albeck@ccv.edu.
