May Resource: HomeShare Vermont

Spring often has people on the move and looking for a new place to live. Others are looking for a housemate to share their ample space with. HomeShare Vermont connects the two. HomeShare Vermont is all about people helping each other. Each “match” is unique and based upon the needs and interests of the individuals involved. With 35 years of experience, skills, and knowledge, the staff at HomeShare works to help you find just the right housemate.

HomeShare Vermont serves Chittenden, Addison, Grand Isle and Franklin counties of Vermont and the town of Brandon. For more information attend one of several 30 minute information sessions:

Anyone interested can contact Home Share Vermont at 802-863-5625 or to sign up! Anyone considering homesharing can call anytime to get more information; you don’t need to wait for the information sessions. Staff can also visit potential home share hosts in their homes.

If you are located in Washington, Lamoille or Orange counties of Vermont, Home Share Now ( may be able to help you. Home Share Now is an independent non-profit which United Way helped start in 2002.
