Free Community Workshops in St. Albans

Starting Wednesday, November 4, 2016, CCV-St. Albans will be hosting free workshops at our South Main Street location. This three-workshop-long series includes instruction in paper arts, entrepreneurship, and positive psychology.

Workshops will take place on Wednesday nights and are open to the public. And sure, it’s in Franklin County, but we’re not going to be checking IDs, so come from wherever you come from, take one or take them all, and learn some new skills! Did we mention it’s free? Here’s the schedule:

  • Paper Arts, taught by Meta Strick
    Wednesday, Nov. 4, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Entrepreneurship, taught by Rick Arend
    Wednesday, Nov. 11, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
  • Positive Psychology, taught by Kim Quinn Smitha
    Wednesday, Nov. 18, 5:30-8:00 p.m.

No matter where you live in Vermont, a CCV Academic Center is close to you!

  • "As I was teaching at CCV I found I was getting the most from my students when we were out in the field – they really responded to that learning style – so I helped to develop classes in the environmental science program that maximize hands-on-learning."
