Mobile Vet Center Comes to CCV Locations

Throughout November and into December the Veterans Administration’s Mobile Vet Center (MVC) will be at select CCV academic centers. The MVC provides outreach and counseling services to veterans, service-members, and their families, especially to those living in rural or remote communities. The MVC also serves as part of the VA emergency response program. Information about VA benefits and services offered at the Vet Center are also provided to veterans and their families.

Yellow Ribbon Project

CCV will also be holding a Yellow Ribbon project at various centers around the state during Veterans Day week. CCV-Winooski began this tradition years ago and this year we are asking all centers to participate. Students, staff, and faculty will be able to write a brief note on a yellow ribbon, post the ribbon on a wall in the center, and at the end of the week the ribbons will be collected and presented to local VFW posts and other organizations around the state.
